Quentin and his team are great, and they are very friendly and welcoming at Miller Green Lodge. Lodge is nice with plenty of room to accommodate guests. The grounds are very peaceful and truly an awesome place to experience nature.

AWESOME! A reunion of four families from Virginia to Texas descended on this beautiful and enchanting property where the hosts Shellie & Joey welcomed us like we were family. Can’t say enough about how wonderful the accommodations and the property fit our needs, especially the elevator for our handicapped family member. Thanks to Joey & Shellie who helped us to have a successful crawfish boil. The weather was perfect, the wildlife entertaining and we are very thankful for the hospitality. Hope to return sometime soon!

First time in Pecan Island during the Spring! We drove in from New Orleans and spent Easter Weekend here. We saw rare birds, woke up to Rosetta spoonbills outside our window and watched marsh hens scurry across the water. We went crabbing at my great Uncle Val’s place and cooked them over the grill w/butter and wild garlic (harvested on the property). We also witnessed a turtle laying her eggs in the ground. We walked around identifying plants and trees such as Sweet acacia, Texas/Brazilian vervain, wild morning glory, Butterweedand so many others. Place is truly magical.

A wonderful & restful getaway to celebrate our Val’s birthday. Most of our time spent on the porches & deck on the water – enjoying the sunshine, breeze and surrounding nature. Thank you for sharing this space with us for a much needed respite.

Wonderful time at your beautiful place! The house and property and land were beyond or expectations. Loved driving around and seeing the alligators all around. Shellie and Joey were awesome hosts!! Friends Trip
The lodge was amazing! We had 4 adult couples and we each had our own bedroom and master bath. The great room, kitchen and dining area all in the middle made a great community area. Shellie cooked us a wonderful meal that was waiting for us upon our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed the property, getting up early to watch the sunrise, bird watching, nature photography, hunting, boating...you name it! Surface Manager Joey made sure we were able to do all we wanted. He was an incredible guide and he and his staff took great care of us. We will be back many times in the future!

Friends & Family Crabbing Trip
We wanted a relaxing getaway and crabbing trip and Miller-Green Lodge exceeded our expectations!! The lodge was beautiful, well stocked and perfect for our versatile group…our guests ranged from 83-12 years old!! The crabbing and fishy FB was amazing and managers so helpful

The Landreneau & Sternaman families were here for the weekend. This lodge and grounds exceeded our expectations! Our adult children and Savoys joined us for a crab boil. Thank you for showing this wonderful piece of Louisiana heaven with us. We also enjoyed browsing in the historical books as Landreneaus are from Eunice and Pine Prairie area. We hope to return again soon!

AMAZING!
Polish-American getaway 2021❤️ We had an amazing stay at this lovely camp. The house, the swamp, the whole atmosphere was amazing. We enjoyed relaxing, cooking, crabbing, fishing, and savoring the beautiful nature. There is a myriad of nature + wildlife = perfect spot for fishing, bird watching and family fun. We were thankful for a chance to relax, reconnect and to charge for the weekend of 4th of July ❤. Viva Polska & God bless America.We will certainly be returning!

Absolutely amazing!
We are Louisiana locals-and a family of fisherman. We wanted a family getaway to catch some crabs and relax. Let me tell you, the property is just beautiful! The wildlife is amazing and so many things to do. We made the best memories. Drinking coffee on the screened porch when the sun came up and playing cards when the sun went down- and boucoup crabbing and fishing in between. This place is remote and that’s one of the best parts- you get to get away from everything. The lodge accommodates a large family without having to be on top of one another. The place is well stocked- just bring your clothes, sunscreen, appetite, and awe of nature. Great bird watching. Couldn’t count the alligators! We will be back several times a year. And Joey and Shellie- such nice and genuine people who are now like family.

Adult family get together
The property was as pictured - you are not always sure that will be the case. There is marsh as far as the eye can see, very remote. However, we just wanted to be together and the lodge was perfect for our family group of ten - clean, very comfortable and well supplied. On site property managers responded within 5 minutes when I alerted them to the fact that the power had gone out during the night (stormy) and the backup generator had not started automatically, however they did not hover, nor did we see them unless we called. We especially enjoyed the elevated screened in porch - sitting out there watching the sunrise with our morning coffee in hand or eating dessert during sunset, listening to the birds and bugs and watching the alligators from our safe perch. It was everything we had hoped for.

Better than we could have imagined
We had a great time at the Miller Green Lodge. The Lodge was even nicer than the pics. The property was beautiful. The caretakers were super friendly and accommodating. They took us out on the airboat. They took my son and his friend fishing. They set us up to go crabbing. And they set us up for a crab boil. The kids had a great time driving around the property and checking everything out. We booked this as a "covid vacation". It far exceeded our expectations. We are absolutely going back.

Husbands 50th Birthday
Renting this property for my husbands 50th birthday has probably been one of the best things I’ve ever done for him and his friends. There were 9 of them and they haven’t shut up yet!!!! They said the property was awesome and the wildlife was abundant. Joey and Shellie went over and above to show the group an excellent time while on the property. The guys said it was a trip they will never forget. Joey and Shellie are like family now and we appreciate everything that they did during their stay! Gratefully,

Despite all the hurricanes that have hit the region, the property is beautiful. It was a perfect getaway for our family and our children’s friends. They had a blast and was a perfect distraction from the stress of school. Thank you for everything, this is a trip we will never forget.❤️

We drove here from Texas not knowing what to expect. It’s an understatement to say we were blown away. Joey & Shellie absolutely made the trip. We caught alligators, set trot lines, shot some nutria rats and ate some damn good food. We played guitar, fished and honestly had an experience that none of us will ever forget. We will 100% be back. Thanks for Everything!

Great, secluded getaway.
Beautiful, secluded location. Property managers were great people who were there if we needed anything. Lodge was even better than the pictures show. Great area to hunt or fish from. Lots of wildlife around. Couldn’t ask for a better weekend.

Looks like Hurricane Delta is going to cut our trip short! This has been the perfect pandemic vacation spot – we love the screened in porch! Our 25 year old son & his friends had a fantastic time hunting with Joey and Dillon. Shellie took great care of us. The house is beautiful and perfect for the break we needed. I’m pretty sure the son & his friends are planning to come back “sans” parents 😊. Thanks for everything!

Thanks for your hospitality – our trip could not have been more perfect. Each year three friends bring their boys hunting and were glad we chose Miller-Green this year to continue our tradition. We will be back!

We had a blast. Pt.2. This is our second time coming down to Pecan Island from Florida on Thanksgiving and boy, it was fantastic. Quaint, Beautiful, hot, cool wonderful. We only got lost twice…. Next year may only be once…. Blessed to experience this place and its people, amazing to be part of the Miller-Green family

We had a great time for my bachelor party. It was great to get out of town and relax. The property was awesome and it was great to have the jeeps and atv to use. We hope to be back for some hunts.
